I’m really excited to share the newest edition to the Skeleton Key Workshop family! The video for the song Cotton Candy Randy by the band Red Pawn.
This project took 15 months and roughly 4 people to make it.
I’m really proud of how it turned out. We worked very hard on it.
I have TONS of behind the scenes footage that will be going out as well. The things you see were built with foam, hot glue, pizza boxes and much much more. DIY. Stay tuned for that!
How cool is this? This past weekend I was asked if I’d be interested in puppeteering a large puppet for Wayne White’s band Username Password. Naturally I said yes.
It was a total blast!
The puppet was very cleverly designed. It’s basically a long wooden pole that fit into a locking mechanism on my belt. The head can be turned via a small piece of pvc running inside the puppet alongside the wooden pole. It even had a handle.
Brilliant!
People were running up to me and taking photos! What a ball!
It was VERY hot!!!
Totally worth it!

Check out the ‘opening credits’ video for the skateboarding company Chapped, for their new video release, “Bad Star”. The idea was influenced by the old horror television show “Chiller” from the 1970s.
The video below shows what I animated vs the original video.
Check it out! Here’s a link to Thrasher’s site where you can watch the whole thing:
I’m thrilled to announce that some of the Workshop’s animation was shown back on December 9th at the Immersion Gallery which recently opened in Chattanooga on the corner of 3rd and Broad. The post is a little late due to having site problems… I’m honored to have been included with a group of such talented artists. What a blast.
