The workshop was recently mentioned on the Fangoria website for the 2025 Chattanooga Film Festival. We had the video for Night Constructions (by the Bohannons) shown at this year’s festival.

If you’ve ever been curious about how stop motion is made — or just love watching creative projects come to life — here is your backstage pass!
Check out the ‘opening credits’ video for the skateboarding company Chapped, for their new video release, “Bad Star”. The idea was influenced by the old horror television show “Chiller” from the 1970s.
The video below shows what I animated vs the original video.
Check it out! Here’s a link to Thrasher’s site where you can watch the whole thing:
It’s called Special Needs and is a collaboration with the good people over at DIYabled. We want to help bring awareness and information about disability into the world.
The voices were done by Priya Ray and Robert Price.
The music is by Kreamy ‘Lectric Santa.
Puppets and animation were done by me.
The catalyst for this project stems from a conversation I was having with Priya where I used the term ‘special needs’. Priya gently corrected me and let me know that term isn’t really used anymore. It was a moment of growth for me. How eating your lunch isn’t a special need. We all need to eat! From there we started talking about what if we made a video explaining this very thing. It turned into what you now see. It feels good to grow.
I hope you enjoy it! We plan on making a series of videos on a wide range of subjects with some of these new characters so stay tuned! #disability #theskeletonkeyworkshop #diyabled #stopmotionanimation #puppet #diy #braille #chattanooga
